Heritage Lottery Fund Project
Treesaw has completed the first part of a £3.5m project funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, English Heritage and Wakefield Council to improve the visitor experience at Pontefract Castle. Over a six week period Treesaw removed trees and vegetation to improve the visual prominence of the castle and minimise damage to underlying archeology from tree roots.
